Here's one of the first new recipes that received an A grade from both David and me.
Asparagus in lemon sauce
2 lbs fresh asparagus
4 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
½ tsp powdered garlic
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp minced fresh dill
¼ tsp sea salt
¼ cup white wine
fresh lemon wedges for garnish
Steam asparagus gently (should still be a bit crunchy). Stir together all other ingredients and heat over med-low heat for 5-10 min. Pour over asparagus and serve w/ lemon.
*The first time I made this, I didn't have a lemon and used a lime instead. Tonight we had it with lemon. We actually liked the lime better -- it gave it a really zesty kick!
