I was going to post this on the day it happened, but, alas, no internet.
We have been really enjoying out time and experiences in the White City (so called because of the old white volcanic rock that is the building material for much of the city) but today was a bit stressful. No water today in the whole city. That's right, a city of a million people with no water - none. Then the internet was down all day until about 5 pm. And last night we ran out of gas for our stove right in the middle of cooking dinner (so we put it in the fridge and got pizza). Then we had our first spanish lesson tonight with a tudor that was a tyrant and laughed at us when we got the answer wrong. Here's a hint, teachers - don't laugh at your students when they haven't eaten well, when they don't have internet, when they haven't showered and when they haven't flushed their toilets all day.

NOOOO!!!! I'm laughing imagining David's shocked exhale and hesitant smile when she laughed!!
not cool "maestro"
I re-read this. Here's my concern. How clean do you think the hands of that pizza thrower were after a day with no water?
