We finished out second Spanish lesson tonight and it went quite a bit better. The teacher didn't laugh as hard. Maybe she read my last entry. Then on the way home, we got an unexpected tour of the out-skirts of the Arequipa because we took the wrong bus home. Um, that was a strange feeling. That won't happen again.
Lot's of stuff happening, membership at the club, interview for Karen at a language institute, Spanish lessons, office organizing, friendship building, church shopping, house settling, and the list goes on.
And the million dollar question - who will our first visitors be? We now have plenty of space since the whole upstairs was bequeathed to us. Up went a sliding glass door, out went the office desks and, viola, we now have as much space in this house as we did in our house back home. So there is a spare room with a private bath waiting for any guests.
