In an attempt to make the best of things, we rummaged through our storage area and dug out some winter clothes and our snowboards and hit the slopes today.A side note about that hat David is wearing: We were sitting in a train waiting to leave the station during our last visit to Peru. Vendors were shouting up through the train windows selling all sorts of things -- juice in little baggies, snacks, clothing items. After a few passes, a hat vendor got the best of David.
It was a sunny, gorgeous day, and we had a great time snowboarding. We're excited to try the Peruvian version once we finally get there! (see photo at right) --->Speaking of which, this morning we bumped our tickets back (again). Our new departure day is May 10.
