...Survived our last triathlon of the season and are feeling inspired to tackle a longer one next summer. We'll see if we feel the same 8 months from now.
...Met our friends Jake and Brandie and their two cherubs -- I mean, adorable little girls -- for dinner in downtown Binghamton. We were the only 6 people sitting at tables on an outdoor patio on a beautiful end-of-the-summer evening, and we lamented the fact that downtown is so desolate on a Saturday night.
...Went rock climbing with our friends, Dan and Tonya, on a perfect Monday off work. The comment, "We need a Labor Day a month," was made at one point during the day, and was met with agreement by all.
...Picked up Maria, our guest for the next two months. She is from Coloumbia and will be working in Binghamton for a couple months on an exchange program. We are excited to have her here and show her around this little part of our country, and of course, practice our Spanish with her!
